Hinsdale District 86 Names Chris Jasculca Director of Communications
Hinsdale, IL – July 25, 2019 – During its Regular Action Meeting on Thursday, July 25, the Hinsdale Township High School District Board of Education voted to approve Chris Jasculca as the Director of Communications. His contract begins August 12, 2019 and extends through June 30, 2021. Prior to joining District 86, Jasculca spent eight years working for Oak Park Elementary School District 97 as the Senior Director of Policy, Planning and Communication.
“We are incredibly fortunate to have someone with his extensive background and experience in school communications joining our team,” said Superintendent Tammy Prentiss. “I believe his skills, knowledge and proven track record will aid the advancement of our strategic plan, build on the success of our schools, and help us meet the needs of the students, staff, and families we serve.”
During his tenure in District 97, Jasculca played a prominent role in the creation and implementation of the District’s current Vision97 4ALL plan, and served as the primary point person on the day-to-day communication associated with the five-year strategic plan that preceded it. He also led the District’s efforts to keep the community updated on the work it completed and progress it made following the passage of its referenda in 2011 and 2017.
“I want to thank the Board of Education and Superintendent Prentiss for this tremendous opportunity,” said Jasculca. “I have long respected and admired District 86’s steadfast belief in the importance of education and tireless support of its schools. That is why I consider it an honor and privilege to be joining District 86. It is also why I am eager to begin the critical work that must be done to implement our strategic plan, further strengthen our relationships with the community, and help our students pursue their ideal future.”
