Positivity Rates by Zip Code
The charts below reflect the COVID-19 positivity rate for the communities that District 86 serves (e.g., Burr Ridge, Clarendon Hills, Darien, Hinsdale, Oak Brook and Westmont). This data was compiled using the dashboard created by the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University.
On Nov. 6, the Illinois Department of Public Health began including probable cases in their reported COVID-19 data. Therefore, Northwestern cannot separate actual cases from probable cases at the zip code level.
Below are the total number of outbreaks each school has had since the start of the 2020-21 school year. The Illinois Department of Public Health defines an outbreak as "five COVID-19 infections (laboratory-positive by PCR or antigen testing) occurring within 14 calendar days of each other in individuals in the same classroom."
