• New to District 86!

    If you have moved into the Hinsdale Township High School District 86 Attendance Area and would like to begin the process of enrolling your student in a District 86 school, please complete the New Student Residency Information Form that follows. 

    1. Residency Verification

    The right to attend a District 86 School is extended to residents who live within the District's boundaries. Students who move into the District to live with relatives or friends for the purpose of attending a Hinsdale Township High School District 86 school are not considered legal residents in the District and, therefore, cannot be admitted to attend school in the District. Pursuant to Hinsdale Township High School District, 86 Board of Education Policy 7:50 and 7:60, every family must provide proof of residency before enrollment. 

    It is contrary to the policy of the Board of Education to admit students who do not legally reside with their parents or legal guardians within the District boundaries. The information you provide will be used by school officials to help establish the eligibility of each applicant for admission.

    2. Registration

    Once your residency has been established, designated custodial guardians will receive an email invitation to complete Online Registration. [Online Registration timelines will be determined by the school year for which you are registering.]

    3. Fees & Textboooks

    Registered students pay fees through PushCoin and purchase textbooks on the MBS website.
